We chose November 1st release in honor of the October 30th - November 1st 1950 revolutionary uprisings all over Puerto Rico, including seven towns: Ponce, Mayagüez, Naranjito, Arecibo, Utuado, Jayuya and San Juan, by members of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party.
On November 1st, 1950 there was an attempted assassination of U.S. President Harry S. Truman in Washington, DC by Puerto Rican Nationalists Oscar Collazo and Griselio Torresola.
Pedro Albizu Campos was called "El Maestro" by all who loved him and valued his leadership. He was the most prominent Puerto Rican political figure of the 20th century, a National Hero who sacrificed his life for the freedom of his country.
